I've picked up some cds on learning Italian and they promise that with dilligence I can be speaking enough Italian to get around in just three easy months. So far I've only learned "very pretty", "sorry" and "sex". Before you judge me gentle reader, these are among the handful of the very first words in the book. Nevertheless, I can't help but feel these could be helpful in a pinch.
